Adopt Me is a top game on the Roblox platform (Mobile / PC / Xbox) with over 28 billion plays and 38 million players logging in each month. Adopt Me is not only the cutest pet adoption roleplay game on Roblox, but also one of the most significant social experiences for this next generation. We are a small team with a huge community, so to push the limits of scale and quality we are expanding our commercial team.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Consumer Products Manager to join Uplift Games, focusing on North America. Reporting to the Head of Consumer Products, you will work alongside them on key global partnerships in toys and publishing, focusing on regional activations. You will be responsible for the Consumer products strategy across Softlines and Hardlines in North America with a focus on key categories and effectively managing the roll-out in market. You will develop retail relationships alongside our partners to develop in store activity. This role will be pivotal in generating new revenue sources and deepening our players’ already deep connection with the game they love.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Support Head of Consumer Products on strategy for global toy and publishing partners
  • Create and deliver regional strategy across Hardlines and Softlines
  • Manage deals from start-to-finish: work to identify the opportunities, build the business case, gain approval from the relevant stakeholders, and execute the deal.
  • Manage the royalty reporting and forecasting process with all US partners
  • Build strong relationships with partners ensuring updated brand information is provided
  • Support partners at retail
  • Work closely with product development team to ensure best in class product is released
  • Effectively liaise with marketing on strategies to link physical product with digital game
  • Maintain a network of relationships across the industry with partners, potential partners, competitors, and innovators in the space.
  • Be an ambassador for Uplift Games in any external dealings, embodying our values.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • 4+ years experience working in a commercial role in the Consumer Products industry
  • Proven track record of deal making, strong negotiation skills and partner management
  • Strong sense of teamwork and cooperative spirit, giving and receiving help when necessary.
  • Experience of working effectively with global partners and an understanding of regional differences when negotiating a deal
  • Active market intelligence with a network of connections across the industry.
  • An entrepreneurial approach and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Highly detailed and organised with a proactive work ethic.
  • Willingness to travel to meet potential partners as needed and attend trade shows
  • A data-driven approach with regards to forecasting and planning.
  • Experience of contracts and specifics of legal agreements
  • Experience working with teams remotely across multiple international time zones, both synchronously (e.g on call) and asynchronously (e.g over written communication).

What’s the Compensation?

When possible, we provide transparent estimated salary ranges to set expectations early and to respect your time.

We recognize, however, that salaries vary within our various remote geographical locations. To give an indication of the salary level for this role, we estimate the annual salary will be as follows for these example locations:

  • New York, NY: $90,000 - $110,000 USD
