Job Title: Head of Product
Location: Remote, work from home in the US or UK only
Position Type: Full-time (40 hours)

What’s the Job?

Uplift Games is the studio behind Adopt Me, the #1 game on the Roblox platform (25+ billion visits, 1.92 million record CCU) all about adopting cute pets. We’re looking for an experienced Head of Product to lead our product strategy and help shape our studio direction.

In this role, you will report directly to our co-founders, working closely to align vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will formalize Product as a discipline and department, bringing in best practices, building strong product knowledge, embedding deeply within dev teams, and hiring talented specialists. Your combined passion for the product and strong leadership skills will inspire our team to innovate and fulfill our mission of “Creating Future Nostalgia” for our millions of players.

It is essential that you value diversity and want to work alongside talented people from marginalized groups. We are explicitly a trans, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC / BAME, and disability-positive team, and you will be an active supporter of all team members.

This is a remote position open to candidates who are based in the US or UK and can demonstrate eligibility to work in those countries.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Company’s products, user needs and market dynamics.
  • Build a compelling product roadmap, inspired by the studio’s vision and leveraging community feedback.
  • Define the Company’s metrics of success. Measure and analyze KPIs, and drive towards greater engagement.
  • Share key metrics and updates with the wider team to create awareness and inspire the team to drive towards a common goal.
  • Be a key stakeholder in all stages of the production cycle, from concept through to completion, to deliver excellent updates which achieve KPI goals.
  • Act as product owner within pods and/or effectively delegate this responsibility.
  • Oversee the design, balance and tuning of the game economy and monetization strategy.
  • Where appropriate, identify, recruit and line manage great product department talent, such as Game Designers, Data Scientists and/or Product Managers.

Your Background

These are the things candidates really should have but can make up for in other areas. If you’re missing one or two, consider applying anyway, especially if you belong to a marginalized group.

  • 7+ years of Product experience in gaming (Product Manager, Game Designer, Data Scientist, etc).
  • 4+ years of management experience.
  • Strong math and statistics background. Experience with cohort behavioral analysis and economy design.
  • Excellent game design experience and intuition. Knowing what "good" looks and feels like in all areas of game development (from UX to performance to creative).
  • Strong professional network across the industry.
  • Highly detailed and organised with a proactive work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to present complex information at the highest levels within the organization effectively.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and cooperative spirit, giving and receiving help when necessary.
  • Experience working with teams remotely across multiple international time zones, both synchronously (e.g on call) and asynchronously (e.g over written communication).
  • You value diversity and want to work alongside talented people from marginalised groups. We are explicitly a trans, LGBTQ+, BIPOC / BAME and disability positive team.

Bonus Points

These are things that can improve your candidacy, but none of these are necessary to apply.

  • Experience working on similar format games (live-service, free-to-play, highly social, mobile-first)
  • Experience working on products for young audiences.

Request Supplementary Documents

  • A copy of your CV / Resume
  • Optional Cover Letter: A brief overview of why you want to work at Uplift Games
